As teachers of Iyengar Yoga, we have undertaken the rigorous assessment process to be certified by the Iyengar Association of Australia, and are committed to ongoing practice and professional learning.
Paola
After years as an Iyengar yoga student, I started teacher training with Alan Goode at Yoga Mandir in Canberra in 2018 and achieved my Introductory certificate in 2021. I have been teaching in Nowra since 2019.
I look forward to sharing my understanding of yoga with students.
Lara
Lara started teaching yoga in a Community Hall in Lennox Head in the early 2000's during her Iyengar teacher training with Simon Marrocco. Since then Lara has taught yoga all around Australia including in Byron Bay, Jurien Bay in remote Western Australia, and Busselton, near Margaret River where she ran her own school for several years.
Over the space of a decade Lara spent extended periods at the home of Iyengar yoga in Pune, in India, and was instructed by the Iyengar family. She spent several years under the tuition of Alan Goode in Canberra to achieve the level of Junior Intermediate 2 .
Lara loves teaching yoga and truly believes that yoga is for everybody
